One of our first and most challenging decisions was around material. Do we do leather?
Are we creating more harm in the world by choosing to make something from leather? Will we be able to create the style and comfort we set our hearts on with a vegan option?
These questions took a lot of time for us to answer. And rightly so.
We worked with our manufacturers to ensure the leather came from a trusted source that supplied beautiful, soft and supple leather because they treated their animals well.
And we also worked on creating our vegan option just as comfortable and stylish. This took some time and a few trials, but the end product - Hitchhiking to Cusco is gorgeous, supple and goes with everything.
